(poems) three: someone I know

a girl I know

There's a girl I know, She's not like me,

She doesn't see the person inside that I can see.

She's a rainbow child, such beauty within,

But she looks upon life with a frown not a grin.

All locked away is how she choses to live,

To make her smile, all I have I would give.

But She lives her life in pain, always sad,

She pushes me away, she treats me bad,

she rips the heart from my insides.

When her feelings for me away she hides,

And yet still I love the girl I see,

If only she would let herself be with me.

a boy I know

There's a boy I know, he's a lot like me,

And he's in love with a girl, that's plain to see.

She's gorgeous, beautiful, amazing in every way,

She's his sunshine on the rainiest day.

And he really doesn't know what to do,

He doesn't know how she feels, tis true.

And he thinks about her every single day,

And he thinks she'd be better off if he went away.

He wants them to make plans, he'd follow where're she'd go,

Do anything for her, never say no.

And he'd never leave her, totally smitten we all agree,

A bit of a muppet, he's just like me.
