(poems) fifteen: Sleep Tales

Wakey Wakey

wakey wakey, rise and shine,

little miss sleepyhead,

this day shall be thine,

if you just get out of bed!

Snoring

i know I snore and that's a bore,

but I love you more than you know,

and I will try forever and a day,

to find a way to make it go.

Can't Sleep

Lying awake, oh for goodness sake;

A snore so deep made it hard to sleep;

Soooo bad she moved bed to calm her head;

And journey to the land of nod away from the noisy ol' sod!

Night & Day

i wrote you a poem about getting out of bed,

but decided to send this random one instead,

dark the morning bright the day,

dark again the night that's all i have to say.

The Tiredness Monster

Sometimes the tiredness monster visits,

He zaps my energy, he takes it all from me,

He stops me from doing things I want to do,

But I'll keep on going all the same just you wait and see.

A Poem to Say Night Night

the bachelorette has been on TV,

bbq sardines were cooked for tea,

now it's late and the moon is bright,

and so a poem to say night night

Wants to be a Cat

sweetie is very sleepy,

sleeping just like that,

I think maybe secretly,

she wants to be a cat.

Late Early

it's late it's early,

I'm tired and yawning,

it's dark getting lighter,

should I say night or good morning!
